this hotel was ideal base for exploring porkellis, liked it. its location was quiet, next to falmouth and the lizard, and a quiet farm. the staff were really helpful and the rooms were reasonably spacious.

Truly enjoyed how the double room was arranged when we arrived. Coffee and tea making equipment, fridges, and kitchenware were very handy👍

Greatly enjoyed my 3 nights stay. Its location not very far from Bellagio Chocolate Fountain was stunning and beautiful. Took a walk around city centre, located not very far from the hotel. I had a wonderful experience during my 3-night stay at Medlyn Moor Retreats. the location of the retreat, close to the mesmerizing Bellagio Chocolate Fountain, was absolutely stunning and beautiful. I also appreciated the convenience of being able to take a leisurely walk through the nearby city center, which was just a short distance from the hotel.

I absolutely loved the way the hotel was decorated. The interior had a charming vintage touch with beautiful floral wallpapers and cozy armchairs. It made me feel like I was stepping back in time, which is always a delight for someone of my age. The general areas were also very well-maintained and had a serene ambiance, perfect for relaxation. I appreciated how the hotel was easily accessible for senior people like me, with no stairs to climb and spacious walkways that were easy to navigate.

I would have loved to have some assistance from the staff's children with carrying my luggage up to the room. Having a little extra help would have made my vacation even more enjoyable.

The comfortable king room with central heating and coffee/tea making facilities, along with the TV, was a great space, and the patio view was an added bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay at this retreat in Porkellis. The location was stunning, nestled in the beautiful Cornwall region. The highlight for us was the private terrace in our double room. It felt like our own little oasis where we could relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Plus, having a flat-screen TV and free WiFi provided us with all the modern comforts we needed. The garden was also a nice touch, perfect for a leisurely stroll or a picnic under the sun.

Excellent rural location, great for walks and stargazing. Impressive attention to detail in beautifully decorated rooms. Friendly and helpful owner with good local knowledge. Peaceful and tranquil setting with plenty of parking. Will definitely return.

We really got great value for our money at Medlyn Moor Retreats. The room was tastefully decorated, clean, and extremely comfortable. The location was ideal, situated in beautiful rural countryside near Falmouth and The Lizard. The staff, especially the landlady Rachel, gave us a warm welcome and took care of us throughout our stay. Highly recommended!
